Hot 100 for BlackBerry Phones

Billboard is a symbolic pop icon. If you want to know the best music around, then you rely on Billboard. They provide an awesome list that plainly reflects the best and the most listened to music. On the other hand, artists can feel like they have accomplished something if they are put on Billboard’s top list. Being part of the list as an artist is an indication that they have reached fame and that their talent is highly appreciated and recognized. Artists would do anything, like selling BlackBerry Curves, singing on the streets, or going without sleep to get on the list. Billboard is an authority in music. When Billboard says it’s the best, then the song is really good. What is today’s Hot 100? Here’s a rundown of the hot songs that will make your BlackBerrys blaze.

One More Night by Maroon 5

This song is basically about love. However, it takes a different side of love, specifically about separation and second chances. There are times that you want to say “NO!” but your heart says the exact opposite. Even if you want to leave your former loved one, you are just drawn closer. This is currently Billboard’s top song. Maroon 5 proves that they are still capable of making great songs.

Some Nights by FUN.

Emancipation is the key to independence. Being free is why people aspire to do things on their own or do things with passion. They don’t want to be conformists. They want to be themselves and make a lasting mark on the world. This song encourages people to believe that life is free and you should live a free life. As Billboard’s number 3, this song also talks about the cons being free. It’s not just all sugar. Sometimes it takes something bitter to tell if it’s sweet.

We Are Never Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift

It’s not being bitter in love; it’s what you call moving on. When your sweetheart wants to break up with you and later decides to continue the relationship, please don’t be dumb and just agree. Think. If you think that it should end, why try to glue broken glass to make it look as if it was never broken? Just think about the good, and end the relationship without being bitter. Billboard’s number 4, this song is a punch to those jerks whose decisions are like a storm—quite unpredictable.

Gangnam Style by PSY

This is a global phenomenon. The weird music video and the very distinct steps make this song worth watching and worth listening to repeatedly. Many people have even experienced Last Song Syndrome (LLS) because of this song. You don’t think someone doing quirky moves and dancing inside a stable is normal, right? PSY has been performing in concerts that are packed with thousands of people. People even have tried to sell BlackBerry Torches just to buy a ticket. This is number 2 on Billboard’s Top 100.

Scary Apps for Your iPhone

Happy Halloween! The scary season is about to begin but your iPhone does not seem to care. It doesn’t have the apps that can spook all your friends. Apps make your phone a better smartphone. You can’t expect your phone just sit back and watch while you make all the effort of scaring people off. Smartphones should be properly equipped with the latest apps, even for Halloweens and other occasions. Some smartphones don’t have very many apps that are themed accordingly. Blackberry comes to mind. If you happen to have one, sell your used BlackBerry phone and since you want cooler apps, then buy a new iPhone 5! This way, both you and your phone will scare your friends to death and you can watch them scream. Won’t that be fun?

Download these cheap apps to make your Halloween a night to remember. Those moments you share with your friends – the laughter, screams, tears, and pranks – will be always there. So, spending a little is nothing compared to the memories you will keep of scaring your crush or your best friend. Here are some of the scariest apps available for the iPhone:

Crazy Skeleton

Crazy Skeleton

This silly app will keep you chuckling throughout Halloween. This interactive app lets you shake the skeleton and then the avatar says something like “Ohh! I feel sick…I’d throw up, but I don’t have a stomach!” There are a total of 18 taglines that are non-offensive and just plain funny so that people from all ages, from kids to kids at heart, will love this app this season. This is a good app to share especially since it’s free.

I-Scare (Scare your friends!)

I-Scare (Scare your friends!)

You will definitely sell your BlackBerry phone just to get an iPhone to get this app. It is similar to the old Internet scare joke. You look at the screen and you are trying to find the difference between two pictures. All of a sudden, the picture of some scary woman or man appears with a sharp shrill. Since the app offers limited scary tactics, you need to show it to your friend one at a time. This way, you’ll be able to scare your entire peer group.

Zombie Clock

Alarm clocks are common. Since Halloween is coming, why not customize your alarm clock and make your wake up call that nightmarish scream? The trick of this custom app is the start of the alarm. It starts off with that peaceful, typical iPhone alarm. Then, it features the hungry undead rising from the grave with loud groans in chorus with other zombies. The problem with the app is it only works when your phone is turned on. So, you might have a hard time making this app work.

Ghost Capture

Ghost Capture

Sell BlackBerry Curve phones and get this app on your new iPhone. You want to scare your friends with a paranormal image? How about freaking them out by placing yourself in the picture? Well, this app is here to help you solve that Halloween dilemma. This app lets you create pictures that are “paranormal” and makes them look real. You can twist, rotate, distort or do anything your imagination wants. You can even add your friends and really scare them!

Apple iPad Mini, Google Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire HD?

If you think that the smartphone industry is the most dynamic and ever-changing, then think again. The tablet PC industry is just as dynamic, although the major players of this industry are not as numerous. It should be noted that the biggest players in the smartphone industry are the biggest players in tablet making. You will never wonder why many decided to sell BlackBerry or Lumia phones. Modern tablets are not the ones we find in museums made out of dirt or clay. Modern tablets are like smartphones. They have all the technological advancements in one gadget. The only difference is their size. However, size matters since the bigger the size, the more functions it can have. That’s why tablets are beloved.

You see many people bringing their high-tech smartphones and their tablets with them. Some people don’t see the logic behind why people would need a tablet PC and a smartphone. It’s very inconvenient to read a book on your iPhone and messaging is a bit hard when done with an iPad. Both have advantages and disadvantages. In the tablet PC industry, three topnotch gadgets covet the top spot. Since you may be trying to sell BlackBerry Storm for cash to buy a tablet, here are your choices with a detailed explanation of specs:

Apple iPad Mini, Google Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire HD

Little Light of BlackBerry’s Might (Part 3)

It’s the best time to sell your BlackBerrys while waiting for this phone to taste success in the market. It is RIM’s commitment to provide its users the best possible services for their convenience and comfort. The BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 is a product that they can truly prove their commitment. Asides from improving security features and expanding its connectivity in BES 10, Holleran points out that with its help, users can use BlackBerry 10 to connect to corporate resources. He says:

“To activate an enterprise device with BlackBerry 10 you’ll just need the email address and the activation password, and it goes through the exact same workflow as an end user putting in, say, their Gmail or Yahoo Account…If it’s a consumer-based email it will send all of those settings down. If you’ve ever configured Outlook or any email client to talk to Gmail, for example, every time I do that, I’ve got to go out and Google…We provide all that information back down to the user that is putting that information in.”

RIM’s Senior Director further explains that when it’s an enterprise account, the users or the system can set activation passwords that are sent to your email address. Then the server connects it and times out that specific password in the company’s infrastructure. The system does it magic and you don’t have to worry about anything.

If you plan to sell BlackBerry phones, please do. The BlackBerry 10 and Enterprise App World is a surrealist world in a magical device. The future users will have to access a specific enterprise version of RIM’s BlackBerry App World software shop called the Enterprise App World. You have two options of how to deliver an app to an enterprise. First, people may get an app from you, develop, and host it behind BES 10’s firewall. The developers denote the app as optional or mandatory then send it to their respective users’ devices to make it available for end-users to download on their devices. The second way is the more legitimate process. As an administrator, the person may browse the public App World, choose apps, and decide as administrator which of the apps can be available for download. To eradicate anticipation, the Enterprise App World is part of BES 10.

RIM’s effort also paid off when they launched the BlackBerry Jam Enterprise Edition so developers would be attracted to create stuff for BlackBerry, especially corporate developers. The event was focused to target enterprise specific “things like workflow, field service applications, things that are really for the back office employee,” says RIM’s Gregg Ostrowski, the person behind the event. A popular enterprise session was dedicated to show how to port over existing BlackBerry Java apps to BlackBerry 10. This way, older devices may be supported. RIM didn’t announce future dates regarding the event but it will certainly do so in the future.

BlackBerry’s makers may be going down in a spiral but they will certainly come back energetically. Many people will probably sell old BlackBerry units so that they can save money for this magical device that brings a little light to RIM, the BlackBerry 10.

Little Light of BlackBerry’s Might (Part 2)

Recently, RIM executives took you down the road of what they think is their future. Even though they have received harsh criticisms from their co-competitors and critics alike, RIM has stood firm, ready to launch its awaited flagship smartphone in next year’s first quarter. Samsung’s Galaxy S4 may overshadow BlackBerry 10 as it is rumored to dominate the global market in the same quarter. Many have tried to sell used BlackBerry phones online but RIM sees things positively and tries to win the hearts of smartphone users by dishing out a little of what BlackBerry 10 can offer.

The BlackBerry 10’s Balance is a marvelous breakthrough in BlackBerry’s Enterprise. The personas help you distinguish which profile you are using, either a corporate or a personal profile for that matter. However, RIM doesn’t stop there. With the flagship smartphone’s release is the release of a new BlackBerry OS, the BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10. The new OS will be integrated in the new smartphone, which is said to have integrated different OS’s into one. Currently, RIM’s BlackBerry Mobile Fusion is the latest operating system, which is used to manage BlackBerry PlayBook. The BES 10 will be initially released with the future flagship phone while an update is said to be available in May 2013 to assimilate various components so the phones can run on a single server.

You probably want to sell your BlackBerry smartphones because the new smartphone is anything but simple. It has apps that can offer a wide range of options for convenience both for corporate and personal uses. One of the most noteworthy enhancements in BES 10 is the Microsoft ActiveSync technology as a sync engine. Holleran says:

“One of the challenges that enterprises have faced with these [non BlackBerry] devices is that they’re not interested in exposing ActiveSync out to the public Internet,” he says. “We’ve solved that with the simple change for us, of BES 5, the proprietary messaging protocols, BES 10 and the switch out over to ActiveSync as our sync engine. We didn’t change out anything that we did around the rest of it. The security is all there, the transport is all there. We just changed out the sync engine service.”

With this app, RIM can propose a number of corporate connectivity selections for BlackBerry smartphones with levels of security. Enterprises can link BlackBerry tablets and BlackBerry 10 devices directly to other operating systems like iOS and Android and to ActiveSync without any additional software. This allows a behind-the-firewall, secured data transport and other security features including the BlackBerry 10 Balance. Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android software cannot support all the security features like the BlackBerry 10. So expect that IT policies can be applied in all situations as BlackBerry 10 devices. Sell old BlackBerrys because this cannot get any better. Holleran says:

“We’re dedicated to meeting the needs of our enterprise customers, and that is a heterogeneous world today,” he says. “In some cases, we’re being engaged by customers that are new to us that don’t have BlackBerrys, but want to manage these third-party devices. People have come to us and said, ‘RIM, you guys are a gold standard for managing mobile devices in general. You understand it; you know what’s going on there. How can you help us out with this influx of other devices?”

Little Light of BlackBerry’s Might (Part 1)

You seem to agree that RIM is in a death spiral. iPhone 5 has just been released and Samsung Galaxy S4 is rumored to be released in the next year’s first quarter. The smartphone industry is going through milestones of achievement but at a faster pace. RIM is not exempt from the demise of the lucrative smartphone industry. HTC is also trying to catch up. They may be heading in a downward spiral. HTC’s profits cannot seem to catch up with their expenses. However, the already-beaten RIM does not take criticisms to heart. Even though many sell BlackBerry phones, RIM is ready to launch its future flagship smartphone, the BlackBerry 10.

Recently, RIM has dished out some juicy insights about the BlackBerry 10. It is noted that the most significant feature of the phone is the BlackBerry Balance. It allows companies to make two separate on-device “personas,” one for personal and one for corporate information. This feature is not exactly new but there have been huge improvements. Holleran, RIM’s Senior Director for Enterprise Product Management, says:

“The goal and the experience of Balance is to support that BYOD user that brings a BlackBerry into work, and, the day they walked into the company, they had a device in a certain state with their information on it…The day they walk out of the company they’ll have all of that same information. The experience people have today, they’re signing over their life when they bring a device in.”

The feature lets you wipe all corporate information without affecting the personal info. Holleran states that RIM will provide deleting options to control whatever information the user’s wish to eradicate, addressing advanced customers with specific needs. The BlackBerry 10 Balance is protection of vital information. This regulates information that goes in and out without customers having to worry. It creates a definite line between you and your work without leaking sensitive information and regulating what is going out. The feature is so interesting that you may want to sell old BlackBerry phones online. You do not have to buy many phones for corporate and personal use.

To distinguish between corporate and personal “personas”, the phone changes its wallpaper so that users may know what persona is currently active. In addition, the same applications can be installed for both personas. That way, the user does not have to install apps for both personas and, at the same time, the user may not accidentally install an app intended for personal use on the work persona and vice versa. The app is a unique milestone in BlackBerry experience. You can isolate apps according to your preferred personas. The question lies in whether users want to flip back and forth with multiple “personas” on a single phone. There truly are circumstances when you don’t want to mistakenly use a corporate phone for personal use. Only time can tell. You can even sell your BlackBerry while you wait for the BlackBerry 10 to arrive.

The features do not just stop here. Read the second part to get a grip on what to expect from RIM’s future phone, the BlackBerry 10.

iPhone’s Success Is BlackBerry’s Demise

Many people anticipated the iPhone 5’s release. Even before it was officially released, millions of people ordered the phone, making the latest iPhone model the fastest selling iPhone yet. iPhone’s rise did not come smoothly. They had to keep up with their greatest rival, Samsung. Before the iPhone 5’s release, Samsung had made the Galaxy S3 available in the market. Unlike the iPhone 5, Samsung’s current flagship smartphone is the fastest selling smartphone yet. People were more than impulsive in buying the S3. However, Apple’s current flagship phone is making a milestone in the smartphone industry. With the feat that Apple’s phone is making, it truly is a success. What about BlackBerrys? Well, many have tried to sell BlackBerry phones because they have become not-so-cool phones nowadays.

The trend is apparent. Many people choose to go for Android phones or iPhones in the hopes of experiencing a new kind of adventure with these smartphones. The thing is, BlackBerry phones have never been inside the circle because their phones are not just as adaptive as other phones. BlackBerry phones basically have the same design, which includes a QWERTY keyboard, a black exterior, and a small screen. What make RIM phones are the specs. The same basic stuff is inside the phone without any very drastic change with the design, specs, and even the size. S3’s and iPhones have radically changed everything from the outside to the inside. iPhones have better cameras, touchscreen displays, and processors that put BlackBerry phones to shame. It is a painful sight to see that the once-glorious BlackBerrys are not at the peak any more.

iPhones are some of the most in-demand smartphones in the market right now partially because it’s an iPhone in the first place. iPhones have built a reputation of credibility, innovation, and power. The iPhones have become part of the prestigious items in popular culture. It is a household name. It is something you want to have. Many have to sell BlackBerry phones to have this technological marvel. The A6 CPU is a marvel. The screen has become taller and it is the thinnest smartphone yet. You do not get that with BlackBerry phones. What you get is the typical BBM or QWERTY keypads seen in all BlackBerry phones. You do not get LTE, 8 MP cameras or more than 4 inches of touchscreen display.

What happens to BlackBerrys? No one really knows. RIM hopes that their BlackBerry 10 will wipe away the fever of iPhone 5. Many experts compare iPhone 5 and with the BlackBerry 10 because it basically appears the same. Although BlackBerry 10’s specs are quite discreet for the moment, it cannot keep up with the iPhone’s fever. Knowing that the iPhone 5 has a big leap over BlackBerry’s future flagship smartphone, RIM can only hope that people will still eat the food that they will be serving. RIM has tried its best to make the phone different and unique from most of the smartphones. They just hope that not many have tried to sell BlackBerry phones to get other ones instead.

Apple Is for Kids: Best Kid Games

Apple is a fruit that kids and adults alike love. It is red in color and heart-like in shape. Everybody knows what an apple is. It was immortalized in Adam and Eve’s story. Even though our perception of the apple has changed, it is still well-known throughout the world. It seems to be everywhere. New York is known as the Big Apple. Out of all the fruits available, Eve supposedly ate an apple. Apples can also be seen in the market. While not an actual fruit, you can buy a bitten Apple in electronic stores. The Apple smartphones are a delectable treat. That’s why many people have tried to sell BlackBerry units online because they want an iPhone.

Kids mostly want something sweet. Besides candies and chocolates, they want to play. Even if they cannot literally eat something sweet, they can play all day and night. When you want your kids to hold still for a while, what do you do? What better way to keep them busy than to let them play some of iPhone’s best kids games? You know what to download? The games that are included in the list are:

Animal Memory Match Kids

iPhone Screenshot 1

This game is best for 5-6 year old children. As expected, the game’s objective is simple. Kids just have to match adorable animals on cards. Once they have paired the same animal, a cute sound emits. If you want to keep the kid busier, you can increase the difficulty and the number of cards on the board. That way, you don’t have to think about what the kids may be doing while you’re busy.

Brushes

This is not a game. However, this simple app can help kids express their imagination better. This is like Microsoft’s Paint. Kids may color or draw anything that comes to their minds. If you want the kids to be as expressive and creative as they can be in the future, this app can be a good stepping stone for your kid’s future in the field of the fine arts. This app even made some decide to sell BlackBerry phones.

Crazy Penguin Catapult

This game is for the older 7-11 year old kids. The good thing about this game is its objective. The player just has to use a catapult to launch penguins with helmets and take out as many polar bears and other enemies in the field. The player just has to swipes his hands in order for the penguin to fly. Make sure that you do not hit the wall but it should fly away across the screen. You just need timing. The music makes you want to play more and the penguins’ sound effects are cute. They even make sounds when they are launched!

Tap Tap Revenge Classic

Like the Crazy Penguins, this game is best for 7-11 year old kids although many adults are playing this one. The Tap Tap Revenge Classic game is a delight. The game is simple: Simply tap once the appropriate circle reaches the spot. The game becomes more complicated when you choose difficult songs, like the new songs. If you want, you can just play the easier songs.

These are some good games and many have sold their Blackberrys to get them.

Top It Off With BlackBerry Phones (Part 2)

BlackBerry phones have been around since they were first released in 2002. Even though it started with a pager, the BlackBerry phenomenon has truly changed the landscape of the smartphone industry. What used to be simple phones for texting and calling have become phones that can just do all the things you can do on computers. That’s why phones have evolved to slowly become smarter to cater the needs of the market. Others have even decided to sell used BlackBerry phones to buy new ones like the iPhone 5.

BlackBerry phones have been there throughout the genesis of the smartphones. They have been a trendsetter in the industry. Here the rest of the top five BlackBerry phones:

BlackBerry Storm 2

If the first BlackBerry Storm rained in success, its predecessor blew off with success. The phone has a 3.25-inch TFT touchscreen display in 360 x 480-pixel resolution which is a trendsetter in BlackBerry phones. The phone measures 112.5 x 62.2 x 14 mm and weighs around 160 grams, which is compact for such a powerful and performance driven phone. The phone has an internal storage of 2 GB that can be expandable with a micro SD card up to 16 GB. Its 3.15-MP camera equipped with a LED flash can capture pictures of up to 2048 x 1536 pixels or record videos in a jiffy. The camera has unique features like autofocus, image stabilization, and geo-tagging. This can give you good cash when you sell BlackBerry phones in the market today.

BlackBerry Curve 8900

This phone seems simple but is packed with good stuff. The 2.4-inch TFT display screen with a pixel resolution of 480 x 360 is a feat considering the meekness of the phone. Like most BlackBerry phones, you can have the option of choosing connectivity options from GPRS, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth. Its BlackBerry OS can run fast with its 512 MHz CPU that is capable of smoothly processing apps and other functions available on the phone. If you can talk using this phone for 5 hours and 30 minutes, you can never go wrong with its Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery. If you want to store movies or pictures on it, the phone already has 256 MB ROM and an available micro SD card slot capable of handling up to 32 GB of files. So, you can never go wrong with a phone like this.

BlackBerry Curve 9000

The phone comes clean because it can truly impress you. The 2.6-inch display screen of 480 x 320 will let you see the good stuff on your phone with ease. Bold 9000 has an internal storage of 1 GB and 128 MB of RAM. If you want, you can expand it with the help of a micro SD card up to 8 GB. The 2-MP camera of 1600 x 1200 pixels lets you capture great moments with pictures or video with the help of its LED flash. The phone is run by 624 MHz CPU with a Standard Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery that can last up to five talk hours. This is BlackBerry being bold.

These phones may not be the best currently but these phones have proven their worth. So, if you happen to have these phones and you don’t like them anymore, you may have to sell old BlackBerry phones to get cash.
